My inspiration for this piece, was the often seen "metamorphic banding" in the granite rocks of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.The bowl has an overall darkness, much like the canyon itself. When illuminated, the bowl reaveals a shimmering radience of silvery blue and magenta. dimensions 16"x 5.5"
