Close-up detail shows lines of silvery gold floating on the red glass. The red is backed up by metal gold leaf, though subtle the leaf may shift from gold/bronze to verdigris.

This bowl is reminiscent of dappled sunlight as it ripples accross the water. Silvery gold highlights with deep aqua underneath. dimensions; Available in 16",18",19" Diameters 5.5" depth

Close-up detail shows silvery gold metal floating on the surface of aqua green. The metal creates a smooth mottled texture on the surface of the glass, much like hammered copper. When light is shining directly onto the surface of the glass, the metal will appear more silver. In an indirect lighting situation, the metal shows more gold to bronze in color. When back lighting, the metal becomes transparent in places, mostly where the light is focused.

Pele vessel sink The Vibrant Red & Amber bowl, was my interpretation of the flowing hot lava that created the Hawaiian Islands. "Pele", is Hawiian for "Goddess of fire", she who shapes the sacred land. The bowl is transparent. Illuminating from above (or below) will cast its color onto adjacent surfaces. dimensions 16"x 5.5"
